Island 98.9 FM is The Rhythm of Cayman, a melting pot of Caribbean vibes with an urban edge. Playing a mix of reggae, calypso & soca with some Caribbean-influenced urban hits.
We are live and local, featuring popular & well-known personalities and DJs such as VJ Marz & Zosia are on-air from 7am – 7pm. The station’s core target demographic is 18 to 45. However, Island FM has the widest demographic range of any radio station in Cayman, with a strong focus on younger, Caymanian and Caribbean listeners.
