DJ LANO

Music has been part of DJ Lano's life from an early age. Growing up, he played both the viola and drums before discovering a passion for DJing while attending the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.

What began as a hobby quickly grew into a campus-wide following, earning him the nickname "The People's DJ." In 2021, he co-founded NXTGEN SOUND alongside Michael Smikle and Jerome Bailey. Since then, the group has performed across the Cayman Islands and internationally, including appearances in Las Vegas, Barbados, Saint Lucia, and Miami.

DJ BLSD

Jerome "DJ BLSD" Bailey's musical journey began long before he stepped behind the decks. From the age of eight, he performed classical and gospel music for audiences both locally and internationally, building a strong foundation in music and performance.

Today, DJ BLSD is a founding member of NXTGEN SOUND and is known for his versatility, creativity, and ability to connect with any crowd. Whether performing at nightlife events, private functions, or large-scale entertainment experiences, he brings a unique energy and genre-spanning style to every set.

MD.4EVR

Born in Jamaica and raised in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Michael Smikle developed his love for music through church choirs, live performances, and Junkanoo band parades. After moving to the Cayman Islands, he reignited that passion by stepping into the DJ scene in 2019.

His talent, energy, and stage presence quickly earned him recognition as one of the island's rising young entertainers. As a founding member of NXTGEN SOUND, MD.4EVR continues to bring fresh creativity and high-energy performances to audiences across Cayman and beyond.

DJ SPRINTA

A proud Caymanian, DJ Sprinta balanced academics and athletics while attending Southeastern Louisiana University, where he pursued track and field and continued developing his passion for music and entertainment.

Known for his energy, versatility, and crowd-moving performances, DJ Sprinta has quickly established himself as one of the Cayman Islands' emerging entertainment talents. Joining NXTGEN SOUND in 2024, he brings a dynamic presence and fresh perspective to the collective's growing reputation.
